BookmarkBattlefield 3 is slated to be the most advanced war simulation ever. Built on the Frostbite 2 engine, Battlefield 3 takes on all of the technology in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but with improved graphics, life-life physics, superb character animation and massive, fully destructible environments. With an intense plot, Battlefield 3 is set to redefine the first person shooter genre, just as Battlefield 2 did for the PC back in 2005.
Join a group of elite US Marine as they battle around the globe, from Europe and North America to the Middle East. Little else is currently known about the plot, but it will certainly be an incredible campaign if previous games in the franchise are to go by.
Multiplayer more your thing? Battlefield 3 looks set to build upon the successes of previous Battlefield multiplayer features with large-scale maps, fully destructible environments, distinct player classes and improved long distance and close-quarters battles. Unlike Call Of Duty games, Battlefield 3 will require tactics, teamwork and cunning in order to succeed, while retaining fast-paced action.
