Welcome to New Vegas, the sort of town where you are forced to dig your own grave, shortly before being shot in the head and left for dead. An almost identical occurrence happens to you while delivering a package to New Vegas. Left for dead and buried in a shallow grave, certain death was on the cards, except for a robot named Victor that observed the event, who recovered your body and took you to a certain Doctor Mitchell in a small town named Goodsprings. Somehow Doc. Mitchell manages to repair the damage, resulting in an almost perfect recovery.
From here-on in you begin to explore Goodsprings. Talking to people around the town leads you to your first quest, leading you to new towns and locations. Gradually the story of the day you were attacked unwinds, and before long you are on the trail of your attacker. Hunting down the package that was stolen from you, along with looking for vengeance for yourself, you travel far and wide, finding new towns and locations. Meet new people and make friends, while completing side missions and quests along the way. With numerous side-quests, a huge map, and lots of places to discover, Fallout New Vegas is one of the most long-lasting games available to date.
